It's a sad day for me today. First news I got when I woke up is that Anita Mui passed away. Ytd, while watching 'The Practice' in the living room, I heard the news that Anita Mui was in coma from the other TV my bro was watching. I quickly rushed to see what the news was reporting about. I had a really bad omen for this report, although it's some rumoured news. Did not expect that my bro would break this devastating news about her death the moment when I woke up.
I felt so sad when I was brushing my teeth, sad that she is young and left us at the age of 40, sad because, life is really fragile, she seems just fine and good this moment and yet she passed away the very next minute.
Alice told me a news about a gal who flew back from USA to have X'mas dinner with her family and soon after the dinner they took pictures then the very next minute she laid down on the floor motionless. After sending the gal to hospital, the doctor diagnose that her some veins in her brain burst and this kind of illness can't be detected early, it doesn't show any signs, the person can just die in spilt second.
I have goosebumps when I was listening to the story, I realised that life is indeed really fragile. You will never know what will happen the next minute or even second, you can get knock down by car while crossing the road, get hit by killer litter when you walk under housing blocks and even get hit by lightning. Life is full of perils.
I believe most ppl will say that we must enjoy our life to the fullest and give everyone around you the care and concern, if not you will start to regret when you lost them.
I totally agree in the saying. When I was in Secondary, an author came by to our school and sold a his book to us, I still have that book around with me, and I remembered vividly that there is a sentence that quotes something like, from the day that a baby is born, he/she is gradually counting down to their deaths, as no one will know what will happen the next moment, in fact when we are born, we have already made one little step everyday into our grave. A quote in the book stated:
" Enjoy Life, Remember Death; Time cannot be purchased"

Played mahjong today.. Tough luck again and lost $23, didn't have the mood to play although haven't been playing for a month. Was very restless and tire, probably due to the enormous energy used in Peibing's hse.
Yesterday, went to IMM Giant with Peibing and Shuping to buy the food we needed for dinner. It was so crowded in Giant, ppl were buying lotsa things, I can see hills and mountains of things placed in ppl's cart, seems like all are free...
We bought $30+ worth of things and went back to Bing's hse to make a havoc of her mum's kitchen. Lolx!!! Her mum can't even rest her eyes on her TV show but insisted coming in to help us. I think I am able to mark ytd as the day I stayed and make some food in the kitchen for quite some hours.
Ping was making the pasta and Bing and I make really simple stuff... the sausages and sandwiches... but think both of us felt some sense of satisfaction when we finally done it.
I ate hell lots of food ytd's night.. felt bloated even in Today's morning. Took Mac breakfast in the morning and it can last me way long to the night and I can just go with bread for my dinner.
After playing mahjong, I left home with Jes and CS to go to TPY central. Jes has her family gathering at 6pm therefore we played until 5pm++. I did not inform CS earlier that Jes can only play until 5pm++ and he arranged to meet his friends at 7.30pm. It was too early for him to go down to Orchard to meet his friends therefore I accompany him for a while before meeting my family in central.
It's worth accompanying CS for that one hour or so... as I manage to nag him to buy 'Wu Jian Dao II' VCD for me as a x'mas present... not after his request for one x'mas present too.
After CS has left, I went to find my family and I got another freebies again... heheh!!! Mum was buying pants from Giordano and I saw a tee and manage to get Dad paid for it too.
Have to accompany Mum for check up tmr, won't blog too long for now. MERRY CHRISTMAS too all!!!

I took out my navel pierce at last, it was forming keloids therefore I have no choice but to remove it to prevent the keloids from growing bigger and bigger. I had a hard time removing the stud, as I never try to remove it b4 and tot that I can juz remove it by pulling the 2 ends of the stud, but actualli.. I only need to twist and turn one end and it will be unfasten and able to remove.
My this navel pierce follow me for about 2years already I suupose. I remove my nose pierce in this year too.. but dun reli remember in which month. That time when I removed my nose pierce, I told myself.. it marks an end to my previous part of life.. those younger and stubborn days. I intended to keep my navel pierce for as long as I live during that time. However, seems like.. I can't.. have to remove it due to those stoopid keloids. I think it cost ard S$100 for my navel pierce and I waste it just like that.. haizz...
